We argue that for ballistic transport through a narrow conductor (of width $W$) a threshold magnetic field exists below which the Hall resistance vanishes. The field is of order $(\frac{h}{e})k_{\mathrm{F}}^{}{}_{}{}^{\ensuremath{-}1}{W}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, and is reached when the transverse wavelength of quantum edge states becomes comparable to the ...

Slip regime MHD 2-liquid plasma heat transfer flow with hall currents between parallel plates
The influence of the slip factor on the MHD 2-liquid heat transfer flow of ionized gases within a channel between two non-conducting plates with Hall currents is investigated theoretically.

This paper presents a new imaging method based on the classical Hall effect (HE), which describes the origin of a detectable voltage from a conductive object moving in a magnetic field. HE images are formed using ultrasound imaging techniques in a magnetic field. These images reflect the electrical properties of the sample.

We derive the semiclassical equation of motion for the wave-packet of light taking into account the Berry curvature in the momentum space. This equation naturally describes the interplay between the orbital and spin angular momenta, i.e., the conservation of the total angular momentum of light.

The utilizing Hall effect-based current sensor ACS712 for true RMS current measurement in power electronic systems [PDF]
Current measurement in power electronic systems is a necessary part of the measurement process. There are different ways for current measurement like using current transformers or using the Rogowski coils which are not precise enough in many applications

Electric Hall Effect and Quantum Electric Hall Effect
Abstract Exploring new Hall effect is always a fascinating research topic. The ordinary Hall effect and the quantum Hall effect, initially discovered in two-dimensional (2D) non-magnetic systems, are the phenomena that a trans verse current is generated when a system carrying an electron current is placed in a magnetic field perpendicular to ...
