Enhancement of the TPD/AgO NPs Hybrid Photodetector by Adding PEDOT PSS
A photodetector was prepared by fusing AgO nanoparticles with a TPD polymer and depositing a TPD:AgO mixture on PS substrates using a spin coating technique. The response time of the synthesized (PSi/TPD:AgO) detector (by using a tungsten lamp with a 250

NMR metabolomics revealed concentration‐dependent metabolic perturbations in HepG2 cells exposed to H2O2. Rifampicin pretreatment enhanced metabolic competence, attenuated toxin‐induced alterations and produced metabolite profiles more consistent with human liver physiology, supporting the use of CYP450‐induced HepG2 models for improved in vitro ...

Study of the Electronic Properties and Hall Effect of Amorphous Si1-xGex:H Thin Films
The electronic properties and Hall effect of thin amorphous Si1-xGex:H films of thickness (350 nm) have been studied such as dc conductivity, activation energy, Hall coefficient under magnetic field (0.257 Tesla) for measuring carrier density of ...

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles

It is proposed that when a charge current circulates in a paramagnetic metal a transverse spin imbalance will be generated, giving rise to a 'spin Hall voltage'. Similarly, that when a spin current circulates a transverse charge imbalance will be generated, hence a Hall voltage, in the absence of charge current and magnetic field.

Objective To explore whether higher body fat and lower lean mass are associated with greater pain and worse patient‐reported physical function in individuals with hip osteoarthritis (OA). A secondary aim was to examine whether pain and patient‐reported physical function differ according to four body composition profiles: high body fat, low lean mass ...

Orbital magnetization as the origin of the nonlinear Hall effect
The nonlinear Hall effect is a type of Hall effect that has recently attracted significant attention. For the physical origin of the nonlinear Hall effect, while orbital magnetization has long been hypothesized to underpin the nonlinear Hall effect, a ...
