Preconcentration and separation of haloacetic acids by ion chromatography
Journal of Chromatography A, 1999A comparative study was made of the chromatographic behaviour of five haloacetic acids (mono-, dibromoacetic and mono-, di-, trichloroacetic acids). The techniques investigated included reversed-phase ion interaction chromatography with UV detection, suppressed and non-suppressed anion-exchange chromatography.

Determination of haloacetic acids by ion chromatography
Journal of Chromatography A, 1994Two ion chromatography methods for the determination of haloacetic acids are described in this paper. The first method is based on anion-exchange separation with suppressed electrical conductivity detection. The second method is based on anion-exclusion separation with UV detection. Both methods are simple and fast.

Corrosion, 1982The effect of chloro, dichloro, trichloro, bromo, and iodoacetic acids on corrosion of brass in dilute nitric acid has been studied using weight loss and polarization techniques. A significant retardation of the corrosion rate is observed in the inhibited nitric acid.
