Two‐Step Access to 4‐Aryl‐5‐Heteroarylpyrazoles via Palladium‐Catalyzed Sequential Transformations Using Palladium 1,4‐Migration Tool

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
Access to pyrazoles arylated at C4 and C5 positions remains challenging due to their similar reactivity under Pd‐catalyzed C–H activation conditions. Herein, we report on the synthesis of 4‐aryl‐5‐heteroarylpyrazoles involving Suzuki‐coupling, followed by Pd‐catalyzed C–H heteroarylation.

Effects of Supramolecular Interactions on E/Z‐Isomerizations in Water and Their Importance for Biological Applications

open access: yesArchiv der Pharmazie, Volume 359, Issue 4, April 2026.
Biomimetic supramolecular hosts in water affect outcomes and behavior of E/Z‐isomerizations. A deeper understanding of such effects can pave the way to understanding photochemical processes in more complex biological environments. The review displays examples of supramolecular hosts affecting the outcomes of E/Z‐isomerizations and subsequently ...

Asymmetric evolution of magnetic reconnection in collisionless accretion disk

open access: yes, 2014
An evolution of a magnetic reconnection in a collisionless accretion disk is investigated using a 2.5 dimensional hybrid code simulation. In astrophysical disks, magnetorotational instability (MRI) is considered to play an important role by generating ...

Mechanistic Study of Gold(I)-Catalyzed Intermolecular Hydroamination of Allenes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The intermolecular hydroamination of allenes occurs readily with hydrazide nucleophiles, in the presence of 3-12% Ph_3PAuNTf_2. Mechanistic studies have been conducted to establish the resting state of the gold catalyst, the kinetic order of the reaction,

Anisotropic Diffusion in Mesh-Free Numerical Magnetohydrodynamics

open access: yes, 2016
We extend recently-developed mesh-free Lagrangian methods for numerical magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) to arbitrary anisotropic diffusion equations, including: passive scalar diffusion, Spitzer-Braginskii conduction and viscosity, cosmic ray diffusion ...

A Landau fluid model for warm collisionless plasmas

open access: yes, 2005
A Landau fluid model for a collisionless electron-proton magnetized plasma, that accurately reproduces the dispersion relation and the Landau damping rate of all the magnetohydrodynamic waves, is presented.

Global MRI with Braginskii viscosity in a galactic profile [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present a global-in-radius linear analysis of the axisymmetric magnetorotational instability (MRI) in a collisional magnetized plasma with Braginskii viscosity.

Vlasov simulations of Kinetic Alfv\'en Waves at proton kinetic scales

open access: yes, 2014
Kinetic Alfv\'en waves represent an important subject in space plasma physics, since they are thought to play a crucial role in the development of the turbulent energy cascade in the solar wind plasma at short wavelengths (of the order of the proton ...

Green synthesis of metal oxides (CaO-K2O) catalyst using golden apple snail shell and cultivated banana peel for production of biofuel from non-edible Jatropha Curcas oil (JCO) via a central composite design (CCD)

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society
The use of biomass as a renewable, sustainable, and eco-friendly energy source is now widely recognized as a potential solution for a variety of environmental problems. To develop biodiesel production, cost-effective feedstocks such as agricultural waste,

Inertial range turbulence in kinetic plasmas

open access: yes, 2007
The transfer of turbulent energy through an inertial range from the driving scale to dissipative scales in a kinetic plasma followed by the conversion of this energy into heat is a fundamental plasma physics process.
