CD74 Blockade Disrupts Endothelial Migrasome Signaling to Prevent Inflammatory Macrophage Differentiation and Inhibit Atherosclerotic Progression

Migrasomes play a crucial role in endothelial‐immune interactions in atherosclerosis. This study identifies migrasomes as amplifiers in the inflammatory cascade, driving immune‐metabolic reprogramming via “migrasome‐APP‐CD74” signaling. Blocking CD74 disrupts migrasome‐mediated signaling, attenuating atherosclerosis progression.

Hamsters show a preference for Polycose, a mixture of starch-derived glucose polymers, that is as strong as their preference for sucrose. However, in the hamster, taste aversions to Polycose may be less easily acquired than taste aversions to sucrose and the qualitative aspects of Polycose are unknown in this species.

API5 Phosphorylation Promotes Antiviral Immunity by Inhibiting Degradation of Cytosolic RNA Sensor RLRs

Ubiquitin‐mediated selective autophagy plays a critical role in antiviral innate immunity. The study shows that upon RNA virus infection, cytoplasmic API5 undergoes SRPK1‐dependent phosphorylation at S464, which in turn suppresses p62 K141 ubiquitination‐dependent autophagy.
