Detection of Text Lines of Handwritten Arabic Manuscripts using Markov Decision Processes
In a character recognition systems, the segmentation phase is critical since the accuracy of the recognition depend strongly on it. In this paper we present an approach based on Markov Decision Processes to extract text lines from binary images of Arabic

Exact Discrete Stochastic Simulation With Deep‐Learning‐Scale Gradient Optimization
A 203,796‐parameter gene regulatory network classifies handwritten digits with 98.4% accuracy using exact stochastic dynamics. The framework decouples forward simulation from backward differentiation, making continuous‐time Markov chain models compatible with deep‐learning optimization.

Unsupervised multi-language handwritten text line segmentation
Text Lines Segmentation (TLS) affects the performance of Manuscript Text Recognition (MTR) systems from document images. At the same time, the TLS task consists of two tasks: the first is Text Lines Localization (TLL) and the second is the Search of the Path that Divides neighboring Lines (SPDL) of handwritten text.
