Effect of Stocking Density on Growth Performance and Economic Return of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Non‐Aerated Semi‐Intensive Ponds of Bangladesh

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 6, Issue 3, June 2026.
Effect of stocking density on growth performance and economic return of Nile tilapia cultured in non‐aerated semi‐intensive ponds in Bangladesh. Four stocking densities (200, 230, 260, and 300 fish decimal−1) were evaluated over a 243‐day culture period.

Isolamento de Streptococcus spp de tilápias do nilo (Oreochromis niloticus) e qualidade da água de tanques rede na Região Norte do Estado do Paraná, Brasil

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Agrárias, 2003
This study evaluated 12 intensive breed of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in four properties localized in the north of Parana State, Brazil. In the period of 13 months, 71 fishes were collected and analyzed of hapas nets that presenting morbidity ...

Reproductive Biology and Hormonal Induction Protocols for Labeo dero (Hamilton 1822): A Foundational Framework for Conservation Aquaculture in Bangladesh

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 6, Issue 3, June 2026.
A reproductive biology study of Labeo dero reveals a July breeding peak with female GSI reaching 14.9 %. Induced breeding trials establish optimal doses of 6 mg kg−1 (♀) and 3 mg kg−1 (♂) carp pituitary extract (94.7 % spawning) and 0.6 mL kg−1 (♀) and 0.3 mL kg−1 (♂) Ovuhom (82.3 % spawning).

Sistemas de criação para o acará-bandeira (Pterophyllum scalare) = Culture systems for freshwater angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Animal Sciences, 2008

Theory‐based promotion of diet and transportation behavior change to reduce carbon footprint among students: Randomized parallel trial of the GROW app

open access: yesApplied Psychology: Health and Well-Being, Volume 18, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Adopting a low‐emission diet and choosing low‐emission transportation modes are among the most effective strategies for mitigating one's individual impact on climate. However, interventions targeting these behaviors often fall short because they focus primarily on motivation, neglecting volitional processes. Guided by the Health Action Process

The GmGT‐2F, a trihelix transcription factor, regulates seed oil content by directly activating GmAGAL transcription in soybean

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, Volume 68, Issue 6, Page 1794-1814, June 2026.
In soybean, the trihelix transcription factor GmGT‐2F positively regulates the expression of the α‐galactosidase gene GmAGAL, thereby modulating seed oil content. The cyclophilin GmCYP2 interacts with GmGT‐2F and suppresses GmAGAL activation. Haplotype diversity analysis of GmGT‐2F, GmCYP2, and GmAGAL identified favorable haplotype combinations ...

Combining social, ecological and economic approaches in knowledge co‐production enables the identification of sustainable farming options

open access: yesPeople and Nature, Volume 8, Issue 5, Page 1261-1279, May 2026.
Abstract Farming systems face an increasing sustainability challenge requiring integrated solutions to minimize the trade‐offs between the social, ecological and economic dimensions of sustainability. Yet, most research remains siloed, limiting interdisciplinary understanding of farming systems as coupled social‐ecological systems (SESs) and precluding

Genomic Prediction of Disease Resistance Provides a Path to Marker Assisted Restoration in a Wetland Foundation Tree Species

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 35, Issue 10, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Tree species worldwide are under threat from non‐native pathogens that impact forests and the ecosystem services they provide. Myrtle rust, caused by Austropuccinia psidii, is one example, first detected in Australia in 2010. This fungal pathogen infects immature tissue from a wide range of Myrtaceae hosts, including the wetland foundation ...
