[Mutagenicity tests for isepamicin (HAPA-B)].
To detect mutagenic activity of isepamicin (HAPA-B), a new aminoglycoside antibiotic, we carried out several mutagenicity tests using microorganisms and cultured mammalian cells. Effects of the antibiotic on DNA-lesion induction and repair were examined using the Rec-assay with Bacillus subtilis and a sister-chromatid exchange test with cultured ...

ABSTRACT Fish production represents an important sector, and limited access to feed is a major challenge faced by fish farmers. A potential solution is for farmers to produce their own feeds using cheaper and locally available ingredients. In order to identify alternative substitutes for conventional protein sources used in fish feed, this study was ...

[Immunological properties of isepamicin (HAPA-B)].
Immunological properties of isepamicin (HAPA-B), a new semisynthetic aminoglycoside, were compared with those of gentamicin (GM). The results are summarized as follows. Rabbits were immunized by HAPA-B or GM with a strong adjuvant, Freund's complete adjuvant, and specific IgG antibodies were found in sera when assayed using PHA and PCA reactions.

Abstract Ecosystem services are rapidly degrading under anthropogenic pressure. Therefore, it is increasingly important to understand how ecosystem services flow, particularly at local scales, where people directly rely on nature for their livelihoods and well‐being. Many ecosystem services are underpinned by ecological (e.g.

Adaptation of Wild Asian Seabass (Lates calcarifer) to Artificial Feed in Cage Culture: A Case Study
ABSTRACT This study investigates the adaptation strategy of wild Asian seabass (Lates calcarifer) to artificial feed in an open floating cage over a period of 360 days. A total of 1800 wild seabass with an initial length of 19.91 ± 0.26 cm and a weight of 72.85 ± 3.94 g was stocked at a density of 15 fish per m3 in 60 m3 cages and subjected to two ...
