A Haptic Gearshift Interface for Cars
2010This paper presents a two degrees–of–freedom haptic interfacethat uses force control to reproduce the behavior of a customarylever and gearshift in automotive applications. The haptic simulation ofthe gear selector lever has been done by designing suitable virtual artificialpotential functions.
