Architectural Image of Harbin in Chi Zijian’s novel “Stories of Harbin”

open access: yesUral survey of oriental studies
This article considers architectural objects as an important component of the image of Harbin in Chi Zijian’s novel “Stories of Harbin”. The writer creates a wide architectural panorama of the city, includes in the narrative various types of urban buildings, which not only serve as a background for the development of the plot and the location of the ...

A Fluorogenic Cysteine‐Tetrapeptide Tagging Strategy for Nonperturbative Protein Labeling and Protein–Ligand Interaction Tracking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A compact Phe‐Cys‐Pro‐Phe (FCPF) tag and an environment‐sensitive SBD‐Cl‐derived probe form a sequence‐selective fluorogenic pair for wash‐free live‐cell protein imaging. This minimally perturbing chemistry allows flexible insertion at termini or loops, produces strong fluorescence upon local microenvironment confinement, supports FRET‐assisted ...

On synchrophasing control of vibration and sound radiation for a floating raft vibration isolation system

open access: yes, 2014
For the purpose of solving the problems of vibration transmission and sound radiations in ships, synchrophasing control technology was presented. The phases of multiple rotating or reciprocating machines installed on a floating raft were adjusted by ...

Snapshot Spatiotemporal‐Spectral Imaging Enabled by Joint Photonic Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Spectra4D enables snapshot spatiotemporal‐spectral imaging by combining high‐speed DMD temporal modulation with CMOS‐integrated Fabry‐Pérot spectral encoding. From a single 2D measurement, a dual‐mask‐guided reconstruction network recovers multiple time‐resolved hyperspectral frames, enabling high‐fidelity observation of rapidly evolving spatial ...

Multiscale Interfacial Engineering Enables Robust Reconstituted Wood

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conventional adhesives used in wood composites create heterogeneous interfaces that cause stress concentration under humid or aqueous conditions, thereby compromising long‐term stability. A synergistic strategy integrating interfacial reconstruction and water‐induced regeneration transforms heterogeneous interfaces into homogeneous ones with ...

Methanol‐Regulated Interfacial Polymerization of Fluorinated Polyamide Membranes Enables Rapid Liquid Hydrocarbon Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through methanol‐regulated interfacial polymerization (IP), bulky trifluoromethyl (‐CF3) groups are successfully integrated into polyamide networks. Unlike conventional membranes that suffer from severe solvent‐induced swelling, the fluorinated network sterically resists structural expansion.
