Polar Decoding Hardware Implementation
2019 26th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (ICECS), 2019This paper presents hardware implementations of two principle polar decoding algorithms: Successive Cancellation Decoding (SCD) and Successive Cancellation List Decoding (SCL). The proposed designs are compliant with 3GPP specifications in terms of block length and frozen-set mapping.

Emission Analysis of Hardware Implementations
2014 17th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design, 2014Today, hardware implementations are the basis for many security applications, such as cryptographic ciphers. Such applications are realized using complex combinatorial logic circuits of substantial size. Therefore, understanding the gate-level implementation can be crucial for the attacker. However, Hardware Description Language (HDL) behavioral models

OR causality: Modelling and hardware implementation
1994Asynchronous circuits behave like concurrent programs implemented in hardware logic. The processes in such circuits are synchronised in accordance with the dynamic logical and causal conditions between switching events. In this paper we investigate a paradigm called OR causality.

A hardware implementation of the mechanism of multiprocessing
Microprocessors and Microsystems, 1999Abstract The mechanism of multiprocessing (MMP) has been developed and implemented as an enhancement of a standard operating system (OS ES) to support efficient execution of fine-grained parallel activities. The MMP mechanism is presented through the description of its primitives, associated data structures and its interface with the OS ES.

A hardware implementation of realloc function
Integration, 1999Abstract The memory intensive nature of object-oriented languages such as C++ and Java has created the need of a high-performance dynamic memory management. Object-oriented applications often generate higher memory intensity in the heap region. Thus, high-performance memory manager is needed to cope with such applications.

Hardware Implementation of HS1-SIV
2017Design of the hardware implementation of the CAESAR competition second round candidate, HS1-SIV, with regular cipher parameter settings is described in this paper. Given implementation of HS1-SIV cipher was developed in such a way to be conforming to the specification of the authenticated cipher as well as a hardware API.

Hardware Implementation of Discrete Stochastic Arithmetic
Numerical Algorithms, 2004In this paper we present a hardware implementation of the Discrete Stochastic Arithmetic (DSA) which is based on CESTAC (Controle et Estimation STochastique des Arrondis de Calculs), a method of controlling round-off errors in floating-point scientific computations.

HARDWARE IMPLEMENTATION OF DECISION TREE ENSEMBLES
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013In this paper, several hardware architectures for the realization of ensembles of axis-parallel, oblique and nonlinear decision trees (DTs) are presented. Hardware architectures for the implementation of a number of ensemble combination rules are also presented.

HARDWARE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW ARTIFICIAL NEURON
International Journal of Neural Systems, 2005This paper describes an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) implementation of a new type of neuron, the Quantron. The goal is to demonstrate the capability of current technology to closely recreate the human body's reaction to a change of temperature.

A Hardware Implementation for Fingerprint Retrieval
2005Recently, fingerprint has been received considerable attentions as a user authentication technique using biometrics. Fingerprint retrieval, which retrieves a candidate list of fingerprints having similar features with the given fingerprint from a fingerprint database, is one of interesting real-time applications.
