Decentralised Power Active Filters

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2004
This paper deals with a decentralised power active filter control based on the separated computation of reference current for each active filter operating under determinated harmonic frequency.

Photic driving in the electroencephalogram of children and adolescents: harmonic structure and relation to the resting state

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2001
In order to identify latent bioelectrical oscillators, 15 normal subjects (aged 9-17 years, 8 males, 7 females) were subjected to intermittent photic stimulation.

Shape‐Reconfigurable Crack‐Based Strain Sensor with Ultrahigh and Tunable Sensitivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A highly sensitive crack‐based sensor with tunable strain detection capabilities is demonstrated through controlled nanocrack formation in a line‐patterned shape memory polymer substrate. The sensor design integrates thermoplastic polyurethane and poly(lactic acid), enabling thermo‐responsive reconfiguration of crack geometry.

Harmonic extensions of quasisymmetric maps [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We study the Dirichlet problem for harmonic maps between hyperbolic planes, under the assumption that the Euclidean harmonic extension of the boundary map is quasiconformal.

Overview of Harmonic and Resonance in Railway Electrification Systems

open access: yesIEEE transactions on industry applications, 2018
Harmonic distortion and harmonic resonance problems have been widely concerned and reported in railway electrification systems (RESs) due to the harmonic injection from the nonlinear electric train, especially high-speed/high-capacity/large-power trains.

Heat Conduction Modulation in Incommensurate Twisted Stacking of Transition‐Metal Dichalcogenide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The interlayer thermal conductance in twisted bilayer TMDs is initially investigated experimentally by the thermoreflectance method. The overlap of lattice vibrations within individual layers and the interlayer interactions, as elucidated through both Raman spectroscopy and molecular dynamics simulations, are demonstrated to be critical factors in ...

A Harmonic Compensation Strategy in a Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System Using Zero-Sequence Control

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Mitigation of harmonics for a grid-connected inverter is an important element to stabilize the control and the quality of current injected into the grid. This paper deals with the control method of a three-phase Grid-Connected Inverter (GCI) Photovoltaic
