A tri‐culture of iPSC‐derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia treated with ferroptosis inducers as an Induced ferroptosis model was characterized by scRNA‐seq, cell survival, and cytokine release assays. This analysis revealed diverse microglial transcriptomic changes, indicating that the system captures key aspects of the complex cellular ...

Enhancing the multiple harmonics by step-like cantilever
In atomic force microscopy (AFM), the higher modes are highly sensitive to the tip-sample interactions which generate many harmonics. When a higher harmonic is close to the natural frequency of a mode, the harmonic signal is enhanced by a resonance.

Axisymmetric Stationary Solutions as Harmonic Maps
We present a method for generating exact solutions of Einstein equations in vacuum using harmonic maps, when the spacetime possesses two commutating Killing vectors.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

Univalent harmonic mappings II [PDF]
[For part I see the author in ibid. 57, No. 1, 57-70 (1992; Zbl 0754.30013).] Let \(U\) denote the open unit disk in the complex plane and \(\Omega (a,b)\) the complement of the union of the intervals \((-\infty,a]\) and \([b,\infty)\) with ...

This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

Harmonic maps and constant mean curvature surfaces in $\H^2 \times \R$ [PDF]
We introduce a hyperbolic Gauss map into the Poincare disk for any surface in H^2xR with regular vertical projection, and prove that if the surface has constant mean curvature H=1/2, this hyperbolic Gauss map is harmonic.

Developmental, Neuroanatomical and Cellular Expression of Genes Causing Dystonia
ABSTRACT Objective Dystonia is one of the most common movement disorders, with variants in multiple genes identified as causative. However, an understanding of which developmental stages, brain regions, and cell types are most relevant is crucial for developing relevant disease models and therapeutics.

Shared Genetic Effects and Antagonistic Pleiotropy Between Multiple Sclerosis and Common Cancers
ABSTRACT Objective Epidemiologic studies have reported inconsistent altered cancer risk in individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS). Factors such as immune dysregulation, comorbidities, and disease‐modifying therapies may contribute to this variability.
