Inspired by metal‐free carbonic anhydrases (CAs) that achieve efficient catalysis without metal cofactors, we herein report a sequence‐defined supramolecular peptoid platform that mimics metal‐free CAs and exhibits hydrolytic activity via a supramolecular assembly‐mediated proton‐transfer mechanism.

Introduction: Articular cartilage makes smooth movement possible and destruction of this tissue leads to loss of joint function. An important biomolecule that determines this function is the large aggregating proteoglycan of cartilage, aggrecan. Aggrecan

Electrical‐Programming‐Free Neural Crossbars Enabled by Photochemical Weight Patterning
A flexible neural‐crossbar hardware system enabled by electrical‐programming‐free, mask‐defined, array‐parallel photochemical weight patterning is demonstrated. Trained weights are physically implemented across the array, supporting multilevel programming, bending‐stable operation and reconfiguration, substrate reuse, and low‐energy readout while ...

Secretion of HMGB1 by macrophages activated by LTA, LTA+Hb or Hb alone.
HeNC2 cells were stimulated with LTA (LTA, 1 µg/ml), LTA+Hb (LTA+, 1 µg/ml and 50 µg/ml respectively), Hb alone (Hb, 50 µg/ml) or maintained in medium (C) for the indicated times. Supernatants from these incubations were electrophoresed on SDS-PAGE gels,

A lead‐free tin‐based hybrid perovskite is designed in which stereochemically active lone‐pair electrons on tin distort the crystal lattice and break its symmetry. Blended into a flexible polymer, the material converts pressure into electricity at milliwatt‐scale power density and continues working far below freezing, powering a commercial wristwatch ...

A dynamic interfacial semi‐interpenetrating polymer network is constructed by sequential assembly of β‐sheet‐rich SF and CS‐RL. The SF framework provides mechanical strength, while dynamically associated CS‐RL enables local rearrangement, allowing droplets to rapidly reconfigure without loss of interfacial integrity.

This study introduces selenium‐integrated cyanine dye (Se‐Cyn), with superior photostability, absorption, and photothermal efficiency, outperforming ICG in NIR window. Its nanoparticle form remains stable in water, accumulates in tumors, and enables strong optoacoustic imaging and effective phototherapy outcomes.

Bland-Altman plot showing the difference of the HB measurements.
Fig 2 depicts the difference of the Hb values (Hb-ZL and POCT-Hb) calculated for each patient and plotted against the mean value of both measurements ((Hb-ZL + POCT-Hb)/2).
