Correlated Charge Transport in an Organic Coulomb Glass

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advances in the development of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs), electrically gated organic semiconductors (EGOFETs), and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) allow for the operation of these devices at very high charge‐carrier densities, where Coulomb interactions between carriers can be expected to become significant.

IV–Oral Antibiotic Switch in Streptococcal and Enterococcal Endocarditis: Evaluating ESC Versus WikiGuideline Criteria

open access: yesPathogens
Background: The 2023 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guideline and the 2023 WikiGuideline both support intravenous (IV)–oral antibiotic switch in selected patients with infective endocarditis but apply different eligibility criteria.

Hb-Kr regulatory model.

open access: yes, 2015
Schematic of hb (top, red) and Kr (bottom, green) genes (black bars); regulatory reactions represented by arrows, with rate constants k. A complete tabulation of the elementary reactions of the model and the k values are given in Tables 1–3.

Resistance to Overdoping Allows Over 2000 S cm−1 Conductivity in P(g3BTTT) With Anion‐Exchange Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

Laser‐Assisted Phase Engineering of 2D MoS2 for Efficient Solution‐Processed Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Here, local laser‐assisted phase transition from solution‐processed phase‐pure 1T′ to 2H MoS2 is shown to critically depend on the irradiation atmosphere. While processing in air leads to damaged insulating regions, inert conditions yield semiconducting 2H domains, enabling direct field‐effect transistor patterning with optimized lateral 1T′‐2H MoS2 ...

Breaking and Fixing the HB+DB protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The HB protocol and its $HB^+$ successor are lightweight authentication schemes based on the Learning Parity with Noise (LPN) problem. They both suffer from the so-called GRS-attack whereby a man-in-the-middle (MiM) adversary can recover the secret key ...

Alloying‐Controlled Tuning of Interfacial Spin‐Orbit Interaction and Magnetic Damping in Crystalline FeCo Thin Films Grown on GaAs(001)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The interfacial spin‐orbit interaction in single‐crystalline Fe1−xCox thin films grown on GaAs(001) can be continuously tuned via alloying. Using spin‐orbit ferromagnetic resonance, the authors find that the interfacial spin‐orbit fields exhibit a nonmonotonic dependence on Co concentration, with a minimum at 20% Co. ABSTRACT The discovery of intrinsic

Correlation between the two measurement methods POCT-Hb and HB-ZL.

open access: yes, 2016
Fig 1 shows the correlation between parameters POCT-Hb (g/dl) measured with POCT devices (Co-oximetry) and Hb-ZL (g/dl) measured with the SDS hemoglobin method.

Percolation‐Driven β‐Relaxation Enables Resonant Acceleration of Crystallization in Amorphous Phase‐Change Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Mobile‐atom percolation underlying β‐relaxations fundamentally dictates the crystallization pathways of phase‐change materials. High‐frequency ultrasonic excitation dynamically modulates this critical mobility percolation network, substantially accelerating the crystallization process.

Charge‐Reversed Lipid Nanoparticles Enable Encapsulation of Pt2L4 Nanocages for In vivo Anti‐Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Charge‐reversed lipid nanoparticles (revLNPs) enable efficient encapsulation and delivery of cationic Pt2L4 nanocages. Encapsulation preserves potent anticancer activity while improving circulation, reducing vascular leakage, and promoting favorable biodistribution in vivo.
