Reduced Mitochondrial Adenine Nucleotide Translocase 1 (ANT1) Correlates With Aging‐Associated Airway Remodeling

open access: yesAging Cell, EarlyView.
Adenine nucleotide translocase 1 (ANT1), a mitochondrial ATP transporter, is decreased in the lung epithelium of aged adults and aged mice correlating to pathogenic airway changes. Loss of ANT1 correlates with increased cellular senescence and changes in COL8A1 in the airway epithelium of the lung.

Procedural sedation and analgesia versus general anesthesia for hysteroscopic myomectomy: A cost‐effectiveness analysis alongside a randomized controlled trial

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Data on cost‐effectiveness of procedural sedation and analgesia for hysteroscopic myomectomy was lacking. Procedural sedation and analgesia for hysteroscopic myomectomy in an outpatient setting is cost‐effective compared to general anesthesia in an operating room. It should be considered to perform hysteroscopic myomectomy in an outpatient setting with
