Rapid hormonal rise in honey bees due to heat‐shock is mitigated by a primer pheromone
We show that honey bee foragers increased juvenile hormone (JH) titers significantly after heat‐shocked for 1 h at 40 °C, but this increase is dependent on social conditions. Increase of JH titers only happened when bees were isolated (one worker bee per vial) but not in groups.

ABSTRACT Introduction Understanding the differences in treatment response between subtypes of major depressive disorder (MDD) may help to prevent lengthy trial‐and‐error processes by identifying effective treatment options. The aim of the study was to investigate the impact of atypical features of MDD (MDD‐A) on the response to lithium augmentation (LA)

S2R-HDR: A Large-Scale Rendered Dataset for HDR Fusion
The generalization of learning-based high dynamic range (HDR) fusion is often limited by the availability of training data, as collecting large-scale HDR images from dynamic scenes is both costly and technically challenging. To address these challenges, we propose S2R-HDR, the first large-scale high-quality synthetic dataset for HDR fusion, with 24,000

Gene therapy is revolutionizing treatment paradigms for haemoglobinopathies, establishing a translational framework for disorders that impact red blood cell development. In their paper, Joshi et al. describe the preclinical and early clinical landscape of gene therapies for non‐haemoglobinopathy erythroid disorders and highlight common thematic ...
