SMAD4 is identified as a guardian of 3D genome architecture in lung squamous cell carcinoma. Loss of SMAD4 unleashes EP300 at chromatin loop anchors, strengthening enhancer–promoter looping and H3K27ac at the SOX2 locus to drive aberrant SOX2 activation and tumor cell proliferation.

This study reveals a metabolic signaling axis in the OSCC microenvironment where palmitic acid (PA) drives the activation of CAFs. PA uptake triggers CEBPG‐dependent epigenetic remodeling to upregulate ERN1 and TMBIM6, thereby mitigating ER stress. This adaptive program sustains CAF survival and the pro‐metastatic phenotype, establishing this pathway ...

Current update on the diagnosis and management of head and neck hard tissue sarcomas
Head and neck hard tissue sarcomas form a rare group of mesenchymal-derived tumours that comprise less than 1% of all head and neck neoplasms. Hard tissue sarcomas account for 20% of head and neck sarcomas and they form a heterogeneous group with a ...

Heat Shock Protein 90: From Molecular Chaperone Function to Therapeutic Targeting in Malignancies
In this review, an integrated conceptual framework linking HSP90's molecular chaperone functions to its pathological roles in cancer is proposed. HSP90 serves as a central node that integrates oncogenic signaling, buffers proteotoxic stress, maintains cancer stem cell plasticity, and shapes tumor‐immune interactions, all of which converge to drive ...

European multicentre study on outcome of surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism
Some 5861 patients undergoing first‐time surgery for sporadic primary hyperparathyroidism were registered in the Eurocrine® database between 2015 and 2018. The use of intraoperative parathyroid hormone measurement decreased the risk of conversion and persistent hypercalcaemia.

Head and Neck Paragangliomas; Genetics, Heredity and Clinical Characteristics
Paragangliomas are rare neoplasms that occur predominantly in the head and neck region. They originate from the neural crest derived cells within paraganglions, and are closely related to the pheochromocytomas of the adrenal medulla. In contrast to other
