ABSTRACT Mitochondrial dysfunction and energy imbalance caused by chemotherapy are key contributors to skeletal muscle atrophy, which severely impacts the quality of life in cancer patients. Paclitaxel, a commonly used chemotherapeutic agent, is known to promote muscle wasting and cellular senescence, largely by impairing mitochondrial function.

Impact of Bariatric Surgery on Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation Outcomes
ABSTRACT Objective The effectiveness of hypoglossal nerve stimulation (HGNS) for residual obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in patients with prior bariatric surgery (BS) has not been previously reported. We evaluate and compare HGNS outcomes in this unique population.

ABSTRACT Nitrooxidative stress, driven by excess reactive nitrogen species like peroxynitrite, contributes to the pathogenesis of many chronic diseases. Among its molecular footprints, 3‐nitrotyrosine (3NT) has emerged as a biologically relevant marker of protein nitration.

Abstract Background In individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF), lean mass and muscle strength are important predictors of clinical outcomes. This study evaluated associations among body composition, handgrip strength, muscle quality, physical activity, and health‐related quality of life in CF. Methods This observational, cross‐sectional study included 27
