Retroca valvular Replacement of heart valves prostheses

The choosing of optimal cell parameters of transcatheter aortic valve prosthesis [PDF]
This paper presents the analysis of dependences between frame basic cell geometry parameters and function via finite element analysis. The simplified models of frame cell with varied strut width, thickness and quantity in a circle was researched to ...

Fungal Antimicrobial Resistance: Mechanisms, Drivers, and Global Clinical Burden
ABSTRACT Fungal antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing concern for world health caused by an increase in multidrug‐resistant infections, an increase in environmental reservoirs, and the ineffectiveness of current antifungal treatments. Fungal infections continue to be largely excluded from AMR initiatives while causing over 1.6 million deaths ...

Abstract Aims The extent of irreversible cardiomyocyte necrosis after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a major determinant of residual left ventricular (LV) function and clinical outcome. Cell therapy based on CD34+ cells has emerged as an option to help repair the myocardium and to improve outcomes.

Among 568 mechanical heart valve replacement patients in Bangladesh, hemorrhagic stroke occurred in 4.4% with 52% mortality. Severe pulmonary hypertension increased risk 4.4‐fold, and warfarin therapy ≥104 months nearly doubled the risk, highlighting the need for long‐term risk monitoring in anticoagulated valve patients.
