Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing of High‐Nitrogen Alloyed FeCr(Si)N Stainless Steel
The alloying element Nitrogen enhances stainless steel strength, corrosion resistance, and stabilizes austenite. This study develops austenitic FeCr(Si)N steel production via powder metallurgy. Fe20Cr and Si3N4 are hot isostatically pressed, creating an austenitic microstructure.

Herein, silicon‐based nanoparticle coatings on X2CrNiMo17‐12‐2 metal powder are presented. The coating process scale, process parameters, nanoparticle size (65–200 nm) as well as the coating amount are discussed regarding powder properties. The surface roughness affects the flowability, while reflectance depends on the coating material and surface ...

Repairing People Trajectories Based on Point Clustering [PDF]
This paper presents a method for improving any object tracking algorithm based on machine learning. During the training phase, important trajectory features are extracted which are then used to calculate a confidence value of trajectory. The positions at which objects are usually lost and found are clustered in order to construct the set of 'lost zones'

Acoustic emissions during direct laser interference patterning are shown to strongly correlate with surface texture depth. By implementing a closed‐loop control system utilizing acoustic feedback, consistent microstructures with uniform depth are achieved despite laser power fluctuations.

Multiple plasma surface treatments improved the Mode I fracture energy of metal‐carbon‐fiber‐reinforced thermoplastic polymer (CFRTP) joints by ≈240% compared to single treatments and nearly 2000% over untreated joints. This significant enhancement, achieved without modifying CFRTP surface roughness, is attributed to improved chemical bonding at the ...
