Bioorthogonal Reaction of o‐Quinone with Furan‐2(3H)‐One for Site‐Selective Tyrosine Conjugation and Construction of Bispecific Antibody Complexes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A site‐selective, efficient, and mild tyrosine conjugation via tyrosinase oxidation and nucleophilic addition, allowing for site‐selective functionalization of peptides, recombinant proteins, and IgGs. Site‐selective mono‐functionalization of IgGs at Y296 enables the construction of immunoliposomes.

Virome and Experimental Analysis Reveal Tryptophan‐Like Dissolved Organic Matter Contributes to the Persistence of Plant Viruses in River Water

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tryptophan‐like dissolved organic matter (Try‐like DOM), a key component of organic matter in river ecosystems, demonstrates significant protective effects against plant viruses. The protective mechanism operates via a “swimming firewall” mode, whereby free Try‐like DOM attenuates ultraviolet (UV) radiation and scavenges reactive oxygen species ...

Leucine‐Rich Repeat‐Containing G Protein‐Coupled Receptor 6 Ameliorates Pressure Overload‐Induced Cardiac Hypertrophy by Regulating Cardiomyocyte Metabolic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
LGR6 overexpression ameliorates cardiac hypertrophy by regulating metabolic reprogramming through USP4‐PPARα pathway. Abstract Metabolic reprogramming is a pivotal mechanism in the pathogenesis of pathological cardiac hypertrophy. Leucine‐rich repeat‐containing G protein‐coupled receptor 6 (Lgr6) has emerged as a significant player in cardiovascular ...
