ABSTRACT Objectives Approximately 10%–30% patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) develop gastric neoplasms (GNs). Although recent reports have suggested the effectiveness of gel‐immersion endoscopic mucosal resection (GI‐EMR) for FAP‐associated GNs, given its simplicity and safety, treatment outcomes for such lesions have not been evaluated.

We analyzed 9,940,870 endoscopic procedures from the Japanese Endoscopy Database (2015–2023), identifying 9,669 eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (EGID) cases. The prevalence of eosinophilic esophagitis, gastritis, and duodenitis increased significantly (p < 0.001), while enteritis and colitis remained unchanged (p = 0.136). EoE rose from 36 cases (

Indocyanine green with infrared imaging (ICG‐IRI) provides real‐time fluorescence visualization of the distal myotomy endpoint during peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM). In this study of 39 patients, ICG‐IRI achieved a 94.9% success rate in fluorescence detection and significantly improved esophageal relaxation and symptoms.

ABSTRACT Objectives The endoscopic system EVIS X1 with improved image quality has been introduced into clinical practice. We examined whether third‐generation narrow‐band imaging (3G‐NBI) is more effective than white‐light imaging (WLI) for detecting early gastric cancer (EGC). Methods Our study, performed at a single center, had a parallel‐group, open‐
