Study of Free‐Space Optical Quantum Network: Review and Prospectives
Free from the constraints of fiber connections, free‐space quantum network enables longer and more flexible quantum network connections. This review summarizes and comparatively analyzes free‐space quantum network experiments based on ground stations, satellites, and mobile platforms.

Detailed and simplified nonequilibrium helium ionization in the solar atmosphere
Helium ionization plays an important role in the energy balance of the upper chromosphere and transition region. Helium spectral lines are also often used as diagnostics of these regions.

Review of test methods used for the measurement of hermeticity in packages containing small cavities [PDF]
This paper presents a critical review of the traditional and newly proposed test methods used for the measurement of hermeticity in packages with very small cavity volumes. Closed-form expressions of the minimum and maximum true leak rates achievable are

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

S-wave model in electron-atom collisions
This thesis discusses the theory and presents the numerical solution of the S-wave models of electron-hydrogen and electron-helium scattering. The Convergent Close-Coupling (CCC) method is used to obtain the numerical results.

Charge exchange in ion-atom collusions relevant to fusion plasma diagnostics [PDF]
Total charge exchange and excitation cross-sections are presented for collisions between He(^2+) ions and helium atoms, the laboratory frame collision energy being in the range 16-800keV.

Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.

Analysis for impurities in helium using the helium ionization detector [PDF]
"This Bureau of Mines report describes a chromatographic method for analyzing impurities in helium that utilizes a helium carrier gas containing 25 to 30 ppm Ne. An example of the effect of trace amounts of nitrogen, methane, and moisture on the detector'

Ignition and Behavior of Arc Spots on Helium Irradiated Tungsten Under Fusion Relevant Condition [PDF]
In nuclear fusion reactors, unipolar arcing is a longstanding plasma surface interaction issue. In this paper, short summaries of morphology changes by helium plasma irradiation under fusion relevant conditions and ignition of arcing on the He irradiated
