Hemangiopericytomas of the Spine
Neurosurgery, 1982Abstract Four cases of hemangiopericytoma of the spine are reported. These are rare tumors that arise from the pericytes. Due to their invasive nature and marked vascularity, a detailed radiological work-up including computed tomography and spinal angiography should be obtained before a direct surgical attack is performed.

The computed tomographic (CT) evaluation of a case of primary pulmonary hemangiopericytoma in a 27-year-old woman is reported. The tumor was shown by CT to arise from lung parenchyma but could not be definitely separated from the contiguous hilar structures. There was no evidence of mediastinal involvement.

Hemangiopericytoma of the esophagus
Human Pathology, 1981A case of hemangiopericytoma arising in the esophagus is described. The light microscopic features were typical, and ultrastructural examination confirmed the presence of pericyte-like cells and excluded smooth muscle and fibroblastic differentiation.

Hemangiopericytoma of the Prostate
Journal of Urology, 1987AbstractA case of hemangiopericytoma of the prostate is described. The patient presented with a 5‐year history of episodic hematuria and lower urinary tract obstruction. A transurethral resection of the prostate showed a highly cellular mesenchymal tumor exhibiting features of a hemangiopericytoma.

Hemangiopericytoma of the trachea
The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 1987Malignant neoplasms of the trachea are rare lesions, with no more than 400 cases documented in the literature. Only three tracheal hemangiopericytomas have been reported. We present the fourth case of such a tumour occurring in the trachea. After the first surgical resection the tumour recurred twice in a period of 10 months.
