Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) in Tendon Regeneration: A Comprehensive Review
Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) offers a promising solution by replicating the native tendon microenvironment and promoting regeneration. This review highlights advances in the decellularization methods, as well as their integration with emerging technologies and translational progress in tendon tissue engineering.

Effect of α-lipoic Acid on Hemolytic Activity of Iranian Vipera Lebetina Venom
Background and Objective: Snake venom is a complex of several toxic elements and enzymes. It has the agents with the ability to destroy cellular and subcellular membrane and to bring about hemolysis of red blood cells (RBC).

Chattonella marina is an ichthyotoxic, bloom-forming raphidophyte known for its hemolytic activity. However, the mechanisms by which nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) limitation influence this hemolytic toxicity remain poorly understood.

[Hemolytic activity of Mycobacterium kansasii].
Mycobacterium kansasii has a strong virulence as compared with those of "mycobacteria other than tubercle bacilli". In this study, hemolytic activities of several strains of M. kansasii were investigated. Secretion of hemolytic factor from these strains was not observed, since no hemolytic zone was found around the colonies grown on the 7H11 agar plate

Long‐Term Hydrophilic, Anti‐Clotting, and Anti‐Fibrotic Dynamic Covalent Silicone‐Based Biomaterials
Dynamic covalent crosslinking of a Schiff‐base silicone elastomer with hydrazide‐functionalized polymers is demonstrated to improve the long‐term hydrophilicity as well as the anti‐fouling and anti‐clotting properties of PDMS implants. The hydrazone‐functionalized material prevents hydrophobic recovery, resists clotting, and significantly reduces ...

Hemolytic anemia with impaired hexokinase activity [PDF]
Analyses of key glycolytic intermediates in freshly drawn red cells from six related individuals suggest that decreased hexokinase activity underlies the hemolytic process in the two members with overt hemolysis. Low red cell glucose 6-phosphate (G6P) was observed not only in the anemic patients but in the presumptive heterozygotes as well and served ...
