This study develops a helical path tortuosity model with formation‐specific parameterization to address the critical limitation of existing tortuosity models that typically excel within narrow permeability ranges. The model decomposes total tortuosity into three physically meaningful components: geometric tortuosity arising from flow path winding ...

Background: This study analyzed changes in the vessel densities (VDs) and hemorheological parameters of patients with central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). Methods: A prospective randomized case‐control study was conducted, which included 80 CRVO patients (the study group) and 80 participants with normal fundus (the normal control group).

Analysis of the Blood Viscosity Behavior in the Sicilian Study on Juvenile Myocardial Infarction [PDF]
Considering the role of hemorheology in coronary circulation, we studied blood viscosity in patients with juvenile myocardial infarction. We examined whole blood viscosity at high shear rate using the cone-on-plate viscosimeter Wells-Brookfield \ubd LVT ...

Clinical application specifications for ulcer oil in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers
Ulcer oil is suitable for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and the prevention of diabetic high‐risk feet. Compared to contemporary therapeutic modalities, ulcer oil exhibits notable advantages for severe ischemic diabetic foot conditions, as well as for wounds in the phase of granulation tissue proliferation and epithelial crawling.
