Clinical application specifications for ulcer oil in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers
Ulcer oil is suitable for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and the prevention of diabetic high‐risk feet. Compared to contemporary therapeutic modalities, ulcer oil exhibits notable advantages for severe ischemic diabetic foot conditions, as well as for wounds in the phase of granulation tissue proliferation and epithelial crawling.

Thixotropic effect of some biochemical factors in ischaemic stroke
Background. Yield shear stress (YSS) well characterizes the thixotropic status of blood, that exemplifies a reversible loss of blood fluidity due to a low shear rate. At the stable haematocrit ratio YSS depends mainly on the fibrinogen level. Aim.

Hemorheological Disorders in Diabetes Mellitus [PDF]
The objective of the present study is to review hemorheological disorders in diabetes mellitus. Several key hemorheological parameters, such as whole blood viscosity, erythrocyte deformability, and aggregation, are examined in the context of elevated blood glucose level in diabetes.

Evaluation of the elastic properties and topography of leukocytes’ surface in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus using atomic force microscope [PDF]
The aim of study was to examine some morphometrical parameters (height, diameter) of the leukocytes (white blood cells - WBCs), their specific surface morphology (globular prominences and depression in WBCs) as well as their local elastic properties ...

Biocompatible Liquid Embolic for the Treatment of Microvascular Hemorrhage
An innovative catheter‐directed liquid embolic (P‐LE) is bioengineered to achieve rapid and durable segmental hemostasis reaching microvessels. This novel approach demonstrated remarkable efficacy in rat, pig (non‐survival and survival), and in anti‐coagulated dog embolization models, outperforming the clinically used embolic agents.

Abstract Background Peripheral artery disease (PAD) in hemodialysis (HD) patients has a significant social impact due to its prevalence, poor response to standard therapy and dismal prognosis. Rheopheresis is indicated by guidelines for PAD treatment. Materials and Methods Twenty‐five HD patients affected by PAD stage IV Lerichè‐Fontaine and ischemic ...
