While drug–drug interactions (DDIs) and their pharmacokinetic (PK) mechanisms are well‐studied prior to drug approval, severe adverse drug reactions (SADRs) caused by DDIs often remain underrecognized due to limitations in pre‐marketing clinical trials.

Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome
In Korea, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) was first reported in a United Nations (UN) soldier stationed in the central front, also known as the "Iron Triangle". In 1976, professor Ho Wang Lee discovered an antigen in the lung and kidney tissues of Apodemus agrarius. In 1980, this novel virus was named Hantaan virus after the Hantaan river.

ABSTRACT Myositis ossificans (MO) is a benign soft tissue lesion, characterized by ectopic ossification due to inappropriate fibroblast differentiation, most commonly affecting skeletal muscles. It often occurs in young adults after muscle trauma, predominantly in male patients and very rarely in children. We describe the case of a previously healthy 3‐

Infection severity across scales in multi-strain immuno-epidemiological Dengue model structured by host antibody level [PDF]
Infection by distinct Dengue virus serotypes and host immunity are intricately linked. In particular, certain levels of cross-reactive antibodies in the host may actually enhance infection severity leading to Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). The coupled immunological and epidemiological dynamics of Dengue calls for a multi-scale modeling approach.

Machine learning predicts early onset of fever from continuous physiological data of critically ill patients [PDF]
Fever can provide valuable information for diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases such as pneumonia, dengue, sepsis, etc., therefore, predicting fever early can help in the effectiveness of treatment options and expediting the treatment process. This study aims to develop novel algorithms that can accurately predict fever onset in critically ill ...

Abstract Aims Few studies have examined the incidence, prevalence, survival rate and death risk for non‐rheumatic and rheumatic aortic stenosis (AS; RAS), aortic insufficiency (AR; RAR) and aortic stenosis with insufficiency (ASAR; RASAR). This study aims to identify the epidemiology of AS, AR, ASAR, RAS, RAR and RASAR.
