Myeloablative Busulfan, Fludarabine and Melphalan Conditioning for Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Childhood Myeloid Malignancy

We report our single‐center experience of transplant outcomes with a busulfan, fludarabine and melphalan‐based conditioning regimen for children < 18 years of age. The regimen was shown to be well tolerated and effective for heavily pretreated children with high‐risk myeloid malignancies prior to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

Cardiovascular outcomes for Australian women with rheumatic heart disease during pregnancy: A retrospective linked data analysis, 2002–2017

This retrospective cohort study used linked data to measure the proportion of women with rheumatic heart disease (RHD) who experienced major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) after 20 weeks of gestation. Before birth, 4.5% of women with initially uncomplicated RHD and 31.8% of women with initially complicated RHD experienced RHD‐MACE.

Home telemonitoring in high‐risk pregnancies: A Finnish retrospective cohort study

This retrospective study suggests that home telemonitoring may provide an acceptable approach for managing selected high‐risk pregnancies. Safe and effective implementation requires careful patient selection and adherence to evidence‐based clinical protocols.
