Acacetin Alleviates Loperamide‐Induced Functional Constipation by Inhibiting P53‐Mediated Apoptosis in Colonic Epithelial Cells

Acacetin, a compound from the traditional Chinese medicine Yunweiling, alleviates functional constipation by inhibiting P53‐mediated apoptosis in colonic epithelial cells. In mouse models and cell experiments, acacetin improved gastrointestinal motility and protected colon tissue by suppressing P53 activation and maintaining Akt1 signaling.
