From Agri‐Waste to Heavy‐Duty Packaging: Upcycling Tomato Processing By‐Products Into Sustainable Bio‐Composite Polymeric Films

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 23, June 15, 2026.
From tomato sauce waste to sustainable packaging: tomato processing by‐products are upcycled as fillers in biodegradable polymers and processed through blown film extrusion to fabricate heavy‐duty bags, enabling a circular and value‐added use of agri‐food residues.

From Viscose to Lyocell‐Type Fibers: Chemical Recycling of Viscose and Modal Fibers Using the Ioncell Process

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
Using the Ioncell process, the recycling of low DP textile waste via four case studies, white, blue, and black viscose and white modal fibers, was investigated. The most common man‐made cellulose fiber (MMCF) is viscose, a low DP material made of plant‐based cellulose, and it accounts for less than 6% of the total amount of textile fibers.

Cannabigerol Alleviates Obesity‐Induced Mitochondrial Dysfunction by Cardiolipin Fatty Acid Remodeling

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
Graphical overview of the effects of the high‐fat, high‐sucrose (HFHS) diet regime and 2‐week cannabigerol (CBG) treatment on the intramuscular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) trafficking and lipid metabolism, with subsequent implications for mitochondrial cardiolipin (CL) composition in the red gastrocnemius muscle.

Comparative Analysis of Hemp Fiber Grown in Year 2010th

open access: yes
Annually increasingly all over the world is observed growing tendency to reduce the production of various products containing non-renewable component and replace them with natural fiber raw materials for textile and non-textile products as well.
