Present situation of fisheries in Henan province, China

open access: yesIsraeli Journal of Aquaculture - Bamidgeh
Henan province possesses abundant fishery resources and is recognized as a typical representative region for inland fisheries in China. However, no comprehensive literature has been reported on its current status of the fishery industry. This review summarized the current situation of Henan fishery industry and found that its fishery production ...

Mechanistic Design of Graphdiyne‐Based Multimodal Sensing Integrating Machine Learning and Photothermal Dynamics for Precision Recognition and On‐Demand Inactivation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A triple‐mode theranostic platform enables integrated electrochemical, colorimetric, and photothermal detection of bacterial infection. Glucose oxidation triggers H2O2 generation and TMB oxidation to oxTMB, producing color and thermal signals under 808 nm NIR irradiation.

ASSESSMENT AND UTILIZATION OF AGRICULTURAL RESIDUE RESOURCES IN HENAN PROVINCE, CHINA

open access: yesBioResources, 2012
Henan is the main agricultural province in China and is the top producer of wheat, representing 25% of the national wheat output. Henan has been the top province in terms of total food crop production since 2000. So, agricultural residue resources, which

Weather Risk and the Viability of Weather Insurance In Western China [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents preliminary results on the possible demand for weather insurance in China. Results from 1,564 farm households from Western and Central China between October 2007 and October 2008 suggest that the greater risk for farmers is drought ...

Zero Thermal Expansion and Local Structure in KxMnxFe2‐xMo3O12‐Based Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Local structure engineering via ion insertion drives local structural transformation from low‐symmetry P21/a to high‐symmetry R‐3c, enhancing structural flexibility and realizing a transition from positive thermal expansion to wide‐temperature‐range zero thermal expansion in KxMnxFe2‐xMo3O12‐based materials.

Phase Fraction Modulation Enhances Li+/Na+ Diffusion Disparity in Spent LiFePO4 Cathodes for Efficient Lithium Extraction from Brine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A direct cascaded utilization strategy for spent LiFePO4 batteries efficiently extracts lithium from brine, embodying the “urban mining” concept. Phase fraction modulation revealed its significant impact on local bond lengths of crystal structure and the Li/Na diffusion energy barrier, identifying the best material (Li0.19FePO4) for lithium extraction.

Room‐Temperature Gas‐Phase CO2‐to‐C3 Coupling by a 4f‐Aromatic Cluster

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We engineered a 4f metalla aromatic cluster, PrB2C2−, that enables efficient sequential C−C coupling with CO2 at room temperature, yielding a linear C3 backbone. This system provides a complete theoretical catalytic cycle and establishes a new design principle for lanthanide mediated CO2 activation.

Resurgence of vivax malaria in Henan Province, China.

open access: yesBulletin of the World Health Organization, 1998
Henan Province (population, 90 million) in China has nonstable endemic malaria. After 1970 when 10.2 million cases of malaria were reported in the province, a huge control programme was undertaken, and in the mid-1980s indoor spraying and bednet impregnation with pyrethroids began. By 1992 only 318 cases were reported.
