This case report describes a patient presenting with bilioptysis while being medically managed with prednisolone for severe alcoholic hepatitis. The patient developed hospital‐acquired pneumonia during her hospitalization associated with bilioptysis, resulting in progressive respiratory failure requiring ventilatory support.
