Doxycycline and Hepatotoxicity
Acta Clinica Belgica, 1992The hepatotoxicity of tetracyclines is well known. If microvesicular steatosis due to a high dose of tetracycline has virtually disappeared, it can also be observed with other drugs belonging to the tetracycline family. To our knowledge, hepatotoxicity induced by doxycycline has never been reported.

Hepatotoxicity of Chemotherapy
Seminars in Oncology, 2006The selection of an antineoplastic regimen for an oncology patient is based first on the availability of effective drugs and then on a balancing of potential treatment-related toxicities with the patient's clinical condition and associated comorbidities. Liver function abnormalities are commonly observed in this patient population and identifying their

Hepatotoxicity of thiazolidinediones
Expert Opinion on Drug Safety, 2003Thiazolidinediones are insulin sensitisers now widely used for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The initial marketed drug in this class, troglitazone, was removed from the market worldwide after approximately 3 years of use due to rare but severe hepatotoxicity, which sometimes resulted in liver failure leading to the need for liver ...

We report a case of hepatotoxicity in a 2-month-old baby after a camphor-containing cold remedy was applied dermally. Liver function tests returned to normal after the application of the cold remedy was discontinued. Ingestion of camphor can cause severe liver and central nervous system injury, and neurotoxicity has been observed after exposure to ...
