Persistence of auxinic herbicides applied on pasture and toxicity for succeeding crops
The aim of this work was to determine the persistence of auxinic herbicides applied on tropical pasture and toxicity for succeeding crops. The herbicides were applied in an area of dystrophic red‒yellow latosol with pasture infested of weeds.

Residual herbicide movement in soil columns
Atrazine, bromacil, diuron, simazine, terbuthylazine, terbumetone, terbutyrne and trifluran are selective residual herbicides on citrus and very common in Spanish orchards. As a first step to measure the herbicide penetration in soil and therefore the risk of contamination, soil columns (40 cm in length, 9 cm interior diameter) were packed with an ...

Residue Analysis of Herbicide Sethoxydim
An analytical method for the residue of sethoxydim [(±)2-(1-ethoxyiminobutyl)-5-[2-(ethylthio) propyl]-3-hydroxycyclohex-2-enone, STM] in crops was established using high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC). A chopped sample was extracted with 50% aqueous methanol (including 5% Na2S2O3) and STM was transferred to n-hexane.
