Recurrent fexuprazan‐induced liver injury following unintentional re‐exposure
Fexuprazan, a potassium‐competitive acid blocker, is increasingly used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease in South Korea. While generally well tolerated, data regarding its hepatotoxic potential are scarce. We report a case of idiosyncratic drug‐induced liver injury in a 61‐year‐old woman following 2 months of fexuprazan therapy.

Abstract Recombinant adeno‐associated virus (rAAV) is a widely used delivery vehicle in gene therapy. A scalable production technology is essential for its wide clinical applications. We have taken a synthetic biology approach to generate HEK293‐based cell lines which harbor integrated genetic elements encoding essential AAV and adenoviral helper ...

Harnessing chimeric antigen receptor macrophages against solid tumors
Abstract Macrophages are prevalent in multiple tumors and exhibit diverse and potent functional activities. Therapeutic reprogramming of macrophage phenotypes represents a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy. Engineering chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) to endow macrophages with anti‐tumor capacities demonstrated encouraging efficacy ...

Purification of Herpes Simplex Virus
Summary Herpes simplex virus was highly purified from host cell material with little loss of infectivity by the combination of isopycnic centrifuging in a three layered silica gradient and rate zonal centrifuging in dextran T 70 gradient. By layering three solutions of colloidal silica (24, 18 and 12%, w/v) on top of each other in the centrifuge tube ...

Promising Prodiginins Biological Activities
ABSTRACT Prodiginins are a large family of at least 34 pyrrolic compounds, including the well‐studied red pigment prodigiosin. Prodiginins are produced by several microorganisms displaying broad biological activities, including antimicrobial, antiviral, antiparasitic, antiproliferative, and immunosuppressive activities.
