Nanoengineered broad‐spectrum antivirals (BSAs) represent a transformative approach to pandemic preparedness. Unlike virus‐specific drugs requiring separate development, BSAs act across multiple viral families through nanoengineering strategies that enhance solubility, bioavailability, and host‐targeted activity.

Equid herpes virus type-1 (EHV-1) is a major pathogen of horses, causing abortion storms and outbreaks of herpes virus myeloencephalopathy. These clinical syndromes are partly attributed to ischemic injury from thrombosis in placental and spinal vessels.

Progestagens Monitoring in 147 Mares in Order to Induce Foaling With Oxytocin

Parturition was induced when the progestagens concentration fell of about 50% within 24 to 48 h. Induction was performed at 9 p.m. in 93 mares that followed the rule of the drop of progestagens, by a single IM oxytocin injection from 10 to 50 UI according to the weight of the mare (120 to 900 kg).

Evaluating the Biochemical and Haematological Safety of the Histoplasma capsulatum var. farciminosum ‘8ZH’ Vaccine in Foals

This study assessed the biochemical and haematological safety of the inactivated Histoplasma capsulatum var. farciminosum ‘8ZH’ vaccine in foals. No adverse clinical signs or significant changes in liver, kidney or acute‐phase protein markers were observed.
