. The occurrence of neurological disease in cattle caused by Bovine herpesvirus in 11 farms from southern Brazil between 1987 and 2007 is described. Twenty-two animals were necropsied.

An investigation of the aetiological role of bovine herpesvirus 4 in bovine endometritis
Uteri from 31 infertile cattle were examined for the presence of bovine herpesvirus 4 (BoHV-4) by nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Samples were also tested for bacteria, including chlamydiae and Mycoplasma bovis.
