Substantiation of a heuristic algorithm in the knapsack problem
Introduction: Formed knapsack problem in terms of set functions and is a heuristic algorithm. The goal: to prove that the heuristic algorithm is essential. Some facts from [2].

Load-dependent vehicle routing problem with route time constraint: a heuristic approach
This article explores a vehicle routing problem originating from the delivery operations of an e-commerce retailer in Thailand. The problem requires consideration of load-dependent distance objective and route time restriction.

Auditory–Tactile Congruence for Synthesis of Adaptive Pain Expressions in RoboPatients
In this work, we explore auditory–tactile congruence for synthesizing adaptive vocal pain expressions in robopatients. Using a robopatient platform that integrates vocal pain sounds with palpation forces, we conducted 7680 trials across 20 participants.

Interactive Heuristic Search Algorithm [PDF]
We present a hybrid heuristic search algorithm for constraint satisfaction problems, which was proposed as a mixture of two basic approaches: local search and backtrack based search. One of its major advantages is interactive behaviour in the sense of changing the task during the search. Some results are presented using the well known n-queens problem.

BCI Control of Heuristic Search Algorithms [PDF]
The ability to develop Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) to Intelligent Systems would offer new perspectives in terms of human supervision of complex Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, as well as supporting new types of applications. In this article, we introduce a basic mechanism for the control of heuristic search through fNIRS-based BCI.

This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

Presentation of the dynamic capacitated location-routing problem with considering price-sensitive demand [PDF]
One of the most important problems of logistic networks is designing and analyzing of the distribution network. The design of distribution systems raises hard combinatorial optimization problems.

Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...
