Higgs production at the lHC [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2011
We analyze the production of Higgs particles at the early stage of the CERN large Hadron Collider with a 7 TeV center of mass energy (lHC). We first consider the case of the Standard Model Higgs boson that is mainly produced in the gluon-gluon fusion channel and to be detected in its decays into electroweak gauge bosons, $gg\to H \to WW,ZZ,γγ$.

Higgs Boson production in [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1995
Abstract The production of the Standard Model Higgs boson in the four-fermion reaction e + e − → μ + μsu−b b is studied. The complete tree-level matrix element, including signal and backgrounds in the standard electroweak theory, is computed and initial state radiation is taken into account in the leading-log approximation ...

Search for invisible decays of Higgs bosons in the vector boson fusion and associated ZH production modes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A search for invisible decays of Higgs bosons is performed using the vector boson fusion and associated ZH production modes. In the ZH mode, the Z boson is required to decay to a pair of charged leptons or a bb quark pair. The searches use the 8  TeV pp

Two paths towards precision at a very high energy lepton collider

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We illustrate the potential of a very high energy lepton collider (from 10 to 30 TeV center of mass energy) to explore new physics indirectly in the vector boson fusion double Higgs production process and in direct diboson production at high energy ...

Combined search for the Standard Model Higgs boson in pp collisions at s√=7  TeV with the ATLAS detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A combined search for the Standard Model Higgs boson with the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. The data sets used correspond to integrated luminosities from 4.6  fb−1 to 4.9  fb−1 of proton-proton collisions collected at s√=7  TeV in 2011.

Sources of Charged Higgs Pair through Double or Triple Higgs Production at Linear Colliders

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2017
The production of triple Higgs (H+H-H0), (H+H-h0) and pairwise charged Higgs boson (H+H-) is studied in the context of future linear colliders within the two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM) type II.

Probing Higgs couplings to light quarks via Higgs pair production

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We consider the potential of the Higgs boson pair production process to probe the light quark Yukawa couplings. We show within an effective theory description that the prospects of constraining enhanced first generation light quark Yukawa couplings in ...

A comparative study of Higgs boson production from vector-boson fusion

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
The data taken in Run II at the Large Hadron Collider have started to probe Higgs boson production at high transverse momentum. Future data will provide a large sample of events with boosted Higgs boson topologies, allowing for a detailed understanding ...

Sensitivity to triple Higgs couplings via di-Higgs production in the 2HDM at $$e^+e^-$$ e + e - colliders

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
An important task at future colliders is the investigation of the Higgs-boson sector. Here the measurement of the triple Higgs coupling(s) plays a special role.
