Phase composition of high-chromium white cast iron

Metal Science and Heat Treatment, 1977
The change in hardness after annealing of cast iron and after normalization at temperatures up to 1100° is due to the structural condition of α phase, while the reduction of the hardness when the normalization temperature is raised from 1100 to 1200° is due to the appearance of austenite.

A composite material with a matrix of high-chromium cast iron

Metal Science and Heat Treatment, 1979
1. Saturation of the matrix with tungsten and carbon during interaction of the matrix with grains of tungsten carbide eliminates the substantial difference in the wear resistance of hardening particles and the matrix of the composite material and secures the tungsten carbide grains in the material. 2. The tungsten diffusing from tungsten

Peculiarities of hydroabrasive wearing of high-chromium cast irons

2018
The purpose of the work was to analyze the processes of hydroabrasive wear of high-chromium cast iron in a neutral environment. It was found that in the conditions of low-energy impact of abrasive on the surface of details, the Rebinder’s effect is a determining factor.

Features of distribution of chromium in high-chromium cast iron

2016

MICROSTRUCTURE CHARACTERISTIC OF HEAT TREATED HIGH-CHROMIUM WHITE CAST IRON

1998
The effects of different holding time at 900 °C on the microstructure charateristic of hypoeutectic high-chromium white cast iron were examinated. The samples were quenched in oil fixed the microstructure and enable to interpretation of effect of isithermal holding time on secondary carbide precipitation process and austenite matrix transformation.
