On computation of high frequency Hankel transforms

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2019
In this paper, we consider to compute high frequency Hankel transforms numerically. An asymptotic quadrature rule is derived based on the variable upper bound integrals. The scheme is verified to be effective by testing some numerical examples.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Noise characteristics and prediction methods of operating converter transformers

open access: yes电力工程技术
Due to the presence of harmonics, the noise characteristics of converter transformers differ significantly from those of ordinary transformers. Currently, the mechanism through which harmonics affect noise is not clearly understood, necessitating ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

High Frequency Transformer Modelling

open access: yes, 2016
The aim of this poster is to describe the “Grey box" transformer model based on the basic geometry of the transformer which is suitable for calculation of transmitted overvoltages through the transformer in the time domain.

Core loss behavior in high frequency high power transformers—I: Effect of core topology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This two-part paper presents an overview of core loss computations performed in both time and frequency domains in order to evaluate their behavior in single phase transformers with different core topologies.

Quantitative Analysis Ageing Status of Natural Ester-paper Insulation and Mineral Oil-paper Insulation by Polarization/Depolarization Current [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Polarization and Depolarization Current (PDC) technique is an effective tool to assess the condition of oil-paper insulation system in power transformers. So far the PDC behaviors of mineral oil-paper insulation have been widely investigated.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
