Comparison of electromagnetic performances of amorphous and nanocrystalline core-based high frequency transformers [PDF]
© 2014 IEEE. Amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys show attractive magnetic properties, and can be the excellent choice to develop the cores of high-frequency high-power transformers used in high-power density renewable power generation systems.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Models for a Fast Computation of Internal Overvoltages in Medium-Frequency Transformers
The fast switching of wide-bandgap (WBG) devices and the resulting harmonics in the switching waveforms can cause significant overvoltages in medium frequency transformers (MFTs).

Spectral Element Method Modeling of Eddy Current Losses in High-Frequency Transformers
This paper concerns the modeling of eddy current losses in conductive materials in the vicinity of a high-frequency transformer; more specifically, in two-dimensional problems where a high ratio between the object dimensions and the skin-depth exists ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Measurement and modeling of stray capacitances in high frequency transformers [PDF]
This paper proposes an approach to incorporate stray capacitances into a dynamic circuit model of high frequency transformers. The measuring techniques for stray capacitances in high frequency transformers and inductors are presented.
