Purification of optical imaging ligand-Cybesin by high-speed counter-current chromatography [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Chromatography B, 2010
Fluorescent Cybesin (Cypate-Bombesin Peptide Analogue Conjugate) was synthesized from Indocyanine Green (ICG) and the bombesin receptor ligand as a contrast agent for detecting pancreas tumors. However, the LC-MS analysis indicated that the target compound was only a minor component in the reaction mixture.

Isolation and Purification of Galloyl, Caffeoyl, and Hexahydroxydiphenoyl Esters of Glucoses from Balanophora simaoensis by High-Speed Countercurrent Chromatography and Their Antioxidant Activities In Vitro

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
High-speed counter-current chromatography was used to separate and purify galloyl, caffeoyl, and hexahydroxydiphenoyl esters of glucoses from the aerial parts of the parasitic plant Balanophora simaoensis for the first time using n-hexane-ethyl acetate ...

Isolation and Purification of Three Ecdysteroids from the Stems of Diploclisia glaucescens by High-Speed Countercurrent Chromatography and Their Anti-Inflammatory Activities In Vitro

open access: yesMolecules, 2017
High-speed counter-current chromatography was used to separate and purify ecdysteroids for the first time from the stems of Diploclisia glaucescens using a two-phase solvent system composed of ethyl acetate–n-butanol–ethanol–water (3:0.2:0.8:3, v/v ...

Preparative separation of flavonoids from the medicinal plant Davilla elliptica St. Hill. by high-speed counter-current chromatography

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2006
High-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) is a major tool for the fast separation of natural products from plants. It was used for the preparative isolation of the flavonoid monoglucosides present in the aerial parts of the Davilla elliptica St ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Isolation Of Chavibetol From Essential Oil Of Pimenta Pseudocaryophyllus Leaf By High-speed Counter-current Chromatography.

open access: yes, 2015
Counter-current chromatography (CCC) was used to isolate chavibetol from the essential oil of leaves of Pimenta pseudocaryophyllus (Gomes) Landrum. Chavibetol was obtained in high purity (98%) and mass recovery (94.4%).

Separation and purification of hydrolyzable tannin from Geranium wilfordii Maxim by reversed-phase and normal-phase highspeed counter-current chromatography

open access: yes, 2010
Three hydrolyzable tannins, geraniin, corilagin and gallic acid, main active components of Geranium wilfordii Maxim, have been separated and purified in one-step by both reversed-phase and normal-phase high-speed counter-current chromatography.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

The molecular mechanism for inhibiting the growth of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells using polymethoxyflavonoids purified from pericarp of Citrus reticulata ‘Chachi’ via HSCCC

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2023
Polymethoxyflavonoids (PMFs), the main bioactive compounds naturally occurring in the pericarp of Citrus reticulata ‘Chachi’ (CRCP), possess significant antitumor action. However, the action of PMFs in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is currently unknown.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
