Experimental Modeling of Forward Recovery Characteristics of IGBT for DC Circuit Breaker

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2021
DC circuit breaker is the main means to clear the faults in VSC-HVDC power grid. Before action of the hybrid DC circuit breaker, the IGBT in the transfer branch is in a state of zero voltage and zero current.

Analysis of SF6 contact based on QPSO-SVR

open access: yesEnergy Reports, 2023
In the condition evaluation of the high-voltage SF6 circuit breaker, contact resistance and mass loss have a significant impact on the arc contact. To that end, this paper proposes a method based on quantum particle swarm optimization and support vector ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Targeting transcription factors associated with hemoglobinopathies: Lessons from successful interventions and implications for cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the transcription factors, repressive chromatin‐modifying complexes, and epigenetic mechanisms that control fetal hemoglobin repression. Notably, many regulators of γ‐globin silencing also function in transcriptional and epigenetic networks that drive cancer, highlighting opportunities to translate advances in hemoglobinopathy ...

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Influence of UHV GIL access on transient recovery voltage of circuit breaker

open access: yes电力工程技术, 2022
The access of ultra high voltage (UHV) gas-insulated transmission line (GIL) affects both the transient recovery voltage (TRV) amplitude and the rate of rise of TRV (RRRV) of circuit breakers, which may endanger the breaking capacity of circuit breakers ...

Treatment with KCL‐286, a first‐in‐class retinoic acid receptor‐β (RARβ) agonist, ameliorates neuronal DNA damage and inflammation in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Repair of neuronal DNA damage in Alzheimer's disease by KCL‐286. (A) Amyloid‐β oligomers and plaques impair neuronal DNA repair pathways, leading to DNA double‐strand breaks and glial activation. (B) KCL‐286 activates RARβ/RXR signalling via retinoic acid response elements (RAREs), associated with increased BRCA1 expression, enhanced DNA repair and ...
