High Efficiency Transformer

open access: yesJAPAN TAPPI JOURNAL, 2001
The high efficiency transformer has developed that reduced the loss furthermore even from the characteristic standard value of JIS standard along with the movement of energy conservation of the world.First in this paper, we describe the changes of JIS and JEM standards with regard to a transformer after explaining the contents of the activity of energy

High-efficiency heteroepitaxial InP solar cells [PDF]

open access: yes
High-efficiency, thin-film InP solar cells grown heteroepitaxially on GaAs and Si single-crystal bulk substrates are being developed as a means of eliminating the problems associated with using single-crystal InP substrates.

High efficiency deterministic Josephson Vortex Ratchet

open access: yes, 2005
We investigate experimentally a Josephson vortex ratchet -- a fluxon in an asymmetric periodic potential driven by a deterministic force with zero time average.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Features of Increasing the Wear Resistance of 90CrSi Tool Steel Surface under Various Electrophysical Parameters of Plasma Electrolytic Treatment

open access: yesMetals
The paper investigates the feasibility of plasma electrolytic treatment (PET) of 90CrSi tool steel to enhance hardness and wear resistance. The influence of electrophysical parameters of PET (polarity of the active electrode, chemical-thermal treatment ...

Processing and characterization of high-efficiency [PDF]

open access: yes
Silicon solar cells with efficiencies ranging from 17 to 17.7 percent are described. These cells were processed on low-resistivity FZ substrates using techniques recently developed for high efficiency terrestrial solar cells. Preliminary results indicate

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

A GGDEF and EAL domain-containing protein in Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae regulates virulence via its diguanylate cyclase activity

open access: yesPhytopathology Research
Kiwifruit bacterial canker (KBC), caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa), poses a severe threat to the global kiwifruit industry, highlighting the urgent need to elucidate its pathogenic mechanisms. Cyclic diguanylate monophosphate (c-di-GMP)
