Plasma-electrolytic treatment of magnesium alloy fibers
Abstract The results of researches of the modifying effect of the Pendant Drop Melt Extraction (PDME) and the Plasma-Electrolytic Treatment (PET) methods for ML10 magnesium alloy are presented. Particularities of PET for fibrous magnesium alloy are studied. Metallography, morphology analysis and corrosion tests are executed.

Possibility of Synthesizing Vanadium Oxides by Plasma-Electrolytic Treatment
For the first time, the principled possibility of forming oxide layers on the vanadium surface using the VNM-1 alloy by the plasma electrolytic treatment (PET) has been experimentally demonstrated. A clarified formulation of the valve materials definition has been proposed. The features of PET for the VNM-1 alloy in different electrolytes were studied,

Specificity of carbon diffusion during plasma electrolytic treatment of steel
Abstract This work is devoted to evaluation of the diffusion coefficient of carbon using the thickness of the martensitic layer after plasma electrolytic carburising in various electrolytes followed by quenching. The effective diffusion coefficients of carbon in the structure of mild steel containing oxide and martensitic layers are ...

Plasma electrolytic treatment of products after selective laser melting
The aim of the work was to study the possibilities of plasma electrolytic treatment for cleaning surfaces of metal products obtained by the SLM-technology. We found that the most effective cleaning from the large alloy particles occurs in the "hydrodynamic" mode, when the occurrence of hydrodynamic pulses observed.
