High-Speed High-Efficiency Engines

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1928

MARKED improvement in high-speed high-efficiency engines will be accomplished during the next few years, according to the author. They will have better balance, longer life and greater efficiency, and will develop more power and be more satisfactory to the motoring public.

High Efficiency Amplifier.

1981
Abstract : An exploratory development model was designed, constructed and evaluated. The design followed the criterion set forth in efficiency improvements in Coupled Cavity TWTs with the exception of a confined flow beam instead of brilluoin focusing. The results exceeded all performance parameters except interaction efficiency. Electronic efficiency,

High-efficiency CARM

Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 1996
Abstract Electronic efficiency of 26%, close to the value calculated for a perfect electron beam in a type of FEM based on the stimulated electron cyclotron radiation, has been obtained for the first time.

High efficiency cryocooler

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2002
The High Efficiency Cryocooler (HEC) is a highly reliable, >10 year life, space cryocooler. Design goals included very high capacity with low mass. The HEC achieved its 10 W at 95 K load while rejecting to 300 K with considerable margin and a flight configured mass of 4 Kg. This flight cooler design is being fabricated for a number of payloads.

High efficiency amplifiers

1994 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest (Cat. No.94CH3389-4), 2002
This paper describes new high efficiency amplifiers. They are single and push-pull power amplifiers and the operating frequency is in the 0.8 GHz band. In the experiments, the maximum power and power added efficiency of the single amplifier were 5.1 W and 62%, and those of the push-pull amplifier were 12 W and 82%. >

High efficiency amplifier

2010
An important evolution in wireless communication systems involves the introduction of more intelligence and reconfigurability in the transceiver in order to obtain more efficient spectral resource management and better transmission quality with low energy consumption. The frequency band of interest is located between 600 MHz and 6 GHz.
