AbstractThe highest mobility nitrides ever grown were indium nitride polycrystalline thin films. The original reactive ion sputtering unit used to produce those films is still in existence and has been substantially upgraded. In this paper we describe some of the parameters that are important for high purity indium nitride growth, while providing the ...

High Mobility Stemless InSb Nanowires
Nano Letters, 2019High aspect-ratio InSb nanowires (NWs) of high chemical purity are sought for implementing advanced quantum devices. The growth of InSb NWs is challenging, generally requiring a stem of a foreign material for nucleation. Such a stem tends to limit the length of InSb NWs and its material becomes incorporated in the InSb segment.

On the Extraction of Charge Carrier Mobility in High‐Mobility Organic Transistors
Advanced Materials, 2015Transistor parameter extraction by the conventional transconductance method can lead to a mobility overestimate. Organic transistors undergoing major contact resistance experience a significant drop in mobility upon mild annealing. Before annealing, strong field-dependent contact resistance yields nonlinear transfer curves with locally high ...

High-Speed Migration by Anticipative Mobility
2003In the advent of ambient intelligence, introducing ubiquitous mobile systems and services in general and mobile code in particular, network latency becomes a critical factor, especially in wireless, low-bandwidth environments. This paper investigates anticipative mobility, a high performance computing technique that exploits parallelism between loading

Very High-Resolution Mobility, Resistaivity and Activation for High-Mobility Materials
ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2016Advanced high-mobility material based devices require knowledge of carrier concentration, mobility and resistivity profiles as well as the effects of strain. Active Layer Parametrics, Inc.’s ALPro system represents a technique to directly measure these parameters as well as the effects of strain from high dopant concentrations in high mobility ...

The need for high-κ gate dielectrics and metal gates for advanced integrated circuits has re-opened the door to germanium and III–V compounds as potential replacements for silicon channels, offering the possibility to further increase the performances of future CMOS generations, as well as adding new circuit functionalities. In this chapter, we discuss

High density packaging for mobile terminals
2001 Proceedings. 51st Electronic Components and Technology Conference (Cat. No.01CH37220), 2002Personal electronics devices are miniaturized to be more comfortable to carry, this size reduction desire, together with increased functionality, have become drivers, especially for wireless devices. Mobile terminal electronics have set a challenge for packaging and provided the motivation to verify emerging technologies.

High-Mobility Semiconducting Naphthodithiophene Copolymers
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2010We have designed and synthesized novel semiconducting polymers by introducing naphtho[1,2-b:5,6-b']dithiophene (NDT) into the polythiophene backbone. These polymers, which have a highly pi-extended heteroarene unit, achieved mobilities (>0.5 cm(2) V(-1) s(-1)) that are among the highest recorded to date for semiconducting polymers and most probably ...

Mobile RFID with a High Identification Rate
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 2014An important category of mobile RFID systems is the RFID system with mobile RFID tags. The mobility of RFID tags poses new challenges to designing RFID anti-collision protocols. Existing RFID anti-collision protocols cannot support high tag moving speed and high identification rate simultaneously.
